Approved Service Providers (ASPs) are trusted local organizations that help farmers understand the program, prepare for enrollment, and access available opportunities. Your selected Approved Service Provider (ASP) will contact you when enrollment opens. Joining the interest list is not enrollment and does not guarantee funding.

What is the ONE RED Ag Data Bank & Grants Program?

The ONE RED Ag Data Bank & Grants Program is a statewide initiative to help Nebraska farmers adopt technologies and practices that improve water management, nutrient efficiency, and soil health, while improving farm value. Whether you are already using advanced practices or just getting started, ONE RED is designed to meet farmers where they are and provide opportunities that fit a wide range of operations.

ONE RED combines:

  • A secure Ag Data Bank
  • Financial incentives and grant opportunities
  • Soil health, nitrogen-management, and water-management opportunities
  • Approved equipment and technology support

Farmers can choose which opportunities make sense for their operation while maintaining ownership of their farm data.

ONE RED has been shaped through conversations with Nebraska farmers, agricultural organizations, Natural Resources Districts, and other partners. The program will continue to evolve based on farmer feedback and real-world implementation experience.

Who Can Participate?

Program eligibility is focused on Nebraska farmers growing corn, soybeans, sorghum, or canola who have at least 80 cumulative acres within an eligible area (Wellhead Protection, Source Water Protection, NRD phase 2 or Higher Management Areas, or irrigated grounds).

Use the scroll bar to visualize the ONE RED Ag eligibility areas. Areas highlighted blue on the right side of the map show the water quality management areas. Areas highlighted on the left side of the map show the irrigated acres with the water quality management areas.

How it Works

Paid enrollment is limited to 1,000 acres, per farmer, per operation. Enrollment has a minimum of 80 cumulative acres that required to be in a water quantity or quality management area (all acres that are certified to irrigate, NRD phase 2 or higher, wellhead and source water protection, and NWQI areas).
