Farmers retain ownership of their data. ONE RED does not sell farm data. Access to information is limited to authorized users and reporting uses aggregated and de-identified information.
Participation in ONE RED does not prevent you from using your data in other programs, marketplaces, software platforms, or future opportunities.

Farm Information
- Contact, county, farm, field, and acreage information
Production Information
- Crop and yield information
- Nitrogen amount, inhibitors, credits, and next-season plans
- Tillage, cover crop, grazing, manure, and applied-water information
- Soil and water sample results for grant participation

- Receipts and documentation needed to verify eligible purchases or practices
- Program activity, application status, and support interactions

How Information is Used
Information submitted through the Ag Data Bank is used to support participation, review eligibility, calculate incentives, administer grant opportunities, provide program support, and meet audit and reporting requirements. Farmers retain ownership of their data.
Information is used only for purposes associated with administering and supporting the ONE RED Ag Data Bank & Grants Program.
What Happens to my Data After the Program Ends?
Your individual program data will remain securely stored for three years after the program ends to meet audit and reporting requirements. Once that three-year period has passed, your personal farm data will be deleted unless you have given us permission to transfer or share it.
Any data that has been combined with other participants’ information and stripped of identifying details – aggregated and de-identified data – may continue to be used to evaluate program outcomes, report overall results, and improve future conservation programs.
